Less often at high temperature

Favor the washing at 30 °. Today, washing machines and detergents have become more efficient, even at low temperatures. For daily "normal dirty" washes, the 30 ° program is enough. Choose a 40 ° program for textiles in direct contact with the body and 60 ° for very dirty clothes, tea towels, towels, sportswear or clothes worn by a sick person.

By washing your clothes at 60 ° C, you consume 1.3 kWh, at 40 ° C about 0.7 kWh. At 30 ° C, your consumption drops to 0.4 kWh: less electricity consumed is better for the planet and for your budget!
