5 DIY Special Father's Day
It's the turn of dads to be spoiled! Need ideas to make easily a memorable gift ? Here are 5 DIY special Father's Day so that there will be no jealous children at home.

DIY # 1: The special bar of chocolate for Dad
Beautiful and tasty at the same time, this DIY is easy and quick to make and will please all gourmet dads.
What you need: a bar of chocolate (black chocolate , milk chocolate , white chocolate , ... It depends on the tastes of dad!), a computer, a printer and glue.
If you like to cook you can even make your own chocolate bar with a suitable mold.
The idea is to recreate a 100% personalized packaging.
For that, you have two options:
- either you start on making your own creation,
- or you print readymade packages.
In the first case, on your Thomson computer , you can decorate an A4 sheet with pictures and small messages for your dad.
You can mimic the original packaging by changing the list of ingredients and the name of the chocolate, for example.
If it is too complicated, you can print all the decorative elements, then stick them on an A4 sheet that you have rolled on the tablet.
There is also online packaging to print. Those of Lovelybulle.com are rather nice:
for instance:
- " I have a great daddy!" ,
- " Daddy, thank you for making me so strong! ",
- " Daddy, thank you for making me so perfect! "
- " The most greedy of all the universe, it's my Daddy! "
Finally, do not forget to remove the original packaging !!
DIY # 2: The pebble messages
Easy and fast, here is a nice way to use pebbles brought back from holidays or those of the park.
What you need: beautiful stones, rather flat or round and felt pens or a paint box.
Write a few kind words with some felt pen or markers or just paint and decorate the stones as you wish.
You can transform them to represent the whole family.
Your happy daddy can spread them around the house or office to think of you!
But don’t skip those stones on a lake or a river!

DIY # 3: The pretty sweet box
For this little other gift for a gourmet dad (btw, are Dads so greedy?), you need: a large matchbox, candy, masking tape and felt pens.
Decorate the empty matchbox with masking tape and using felt pens.
Fill it with sweets that your dad likes especially and just add a little message inside.
He can reuse this beautiful box to store his cufflinks or subway tickets!
DIY # 4: a Coupon for ...
Very simple to make, the "Coupons for ..." are always fun.
What you need: paper, printer scissors.
On the Thomson computer , make a beautiful layout with, in the center, a big "THANK you DADDY" accompanied by a kind short message describing everything you love about him.
At the bottom of the sheet, leave some space to add columns with coupons.
You can write for instance:
- < Coupon for a breakfast in bed> ,
- < Coupon for a nap> ,
- < Coupon for a dinner for two>,
- < Coupon for an endless hug> ,
- < Coupon for one hour without being disturbed /without any noise > , and so on...
Just imagine all that would please your dad!
Print the sheet and cut notches down to make it more beautiful.
Cut also between each column until the line so that coupons can be detached more easily.

DIY # 5: The Frame for Super Daddy
You can make a beautiful, unique and very decorative frame using toy characters on a theme that your dad likes.
What you need: a photo frame at least 3 cm thick, figurines to take in the children's room, a sheet, a printer , letters taken from a Scrabble ® game, and some reusable putty-like pressure-sensitive adhesive.
Bring together some Lego®, Playmobil® or other characters from your favorite toys.
Choose them according to a theme that will please your dad: Super Hero® if he is a fan of Marvel®, racing driver if he is a sports car race fan, Star Wars®, a famous cook, ...
Check that the selected figures are not too big for the photo frame.
Print a sheet with the scenario of your characters in a size adapted to your photo frame.
You can write a short message or just the names of your characters.
Paste your characters with some reusable putty-like pressure-sensitive adhesive, or double-sided tape.
Then paste the word DADDY with Scrabble® game letters of at the top of the sheet.
Put this collage artwork inside the frame and close it.
If necessary, according to the weight of the collage, you will have to stick the sheet at the backside of the frame.
